Safety Leaders
Mana Tangata
Haere taka mua, taka muri; kaua e whai.
Be a leader, not a follower.
Changing the way we think about safety starts at home not at work.
Learning and development of safe behaviour occurs best through active participation and collaboration with work activities or processes that builds respect for the safety of self and of those around us.
Mana Tangata is an immersive, experiential safety leadership journey that gives you insights into how personal decisions are influenced when it comes to safety, acting safely and taking action to maintain safety for people.
Through well-crafted experiences we reveal and challenge your instinctual behaviour to enable more meaningful and purposeful learning of safety leadership influence.
The Beginning
Our Mana Tangata program is targeted at resetting the safety culture of an organisation, emphasizing active participation and personal responsibility for safety. The program explores the ability of individuals to influence work practices and day-to-day decisions to build respect for the safety of self and others.
The program is delivered over 2 consecutive days, with flexibility in venue to suit the organisation.
Who is Mana Tangata for?
Our Mana Tangata program is designed for organisations committed to changing and improving their safety culture, with leaders who want to change safety through story rather than statistics.
The program can be tailored to encompass any group size, including entire organisations. The most suitable program delivery model can be discussed and mutually agreed upon to deliver the best possible outcome and impact.
